A turnkey project for installing subsea optical cables and equipment, as well as ground-based cables and optical transmission equipment (DWDM) interconnecting two land terminal stations (Praia Grande/SP and Praia da Macumba/RJ) and 13 oil exploration and production units in the pre-salt region of the Santos Basin. More than 1,200 km of subsea optical cables will be installed at depths of up to 2,500 meters. This is one of the world’s largest subsea optical cable projects for the Oil & Gas industry.
